About Me - Charlie Restivo

I graduated in December 2005 from the Business Administration - Materials and Operations Management (Co-op) Program at Conestoga College. If you are looking for a college I highly recommend Conestoga College, which is constantly ranked #1 in Ontario. This program is utimately responsible for the great job I received immediately after graduation.
AllegroGL Programming
I enjoy programming games in my spare time. Currently I am using C++ and Allegro, which is much better than when I used Visual Basic and DirectX. Like a typical game programmer, many of my games never get completed and I end up starting something new, and the cycle starts all over! Often I find some new way of doing something and spend way too much time trying to learn it and then decide that I don't want to use it in my game. Anyway, I have learned a lot over the years and I love doing it.
Cannondale Jekyll 600 Photos
Other hobbies include outdoor sports like mountain biking. My old ride was a Cannondale Jekyll 600 and it was great. It was the first dual suspension bike I owned and I did not have any problems with it. Currently I am riding a 2007 Specialized Epic Comp, which is much more suited for cross country.
DK Signal 2007 Photos
Recently I bought a DK Signal 2007 to do Flatland/Freestyle BMX. This is a great starter bike for anyone who is just getting into it and is looking for a bike with great value. I bought it at a great shop in Guelph called Backpeddling, who got the bike through a local distributor Ryder BMX.
Kemper Snowboard and Bindings
During the winter I like to snowboard. I own a Kemper snowboard with Kemper bindings and Liquid boots. Most of the time I end up going to Chicopee and sometimes to Blue Mountain, but if I lived closer I would go to Blue Mountain a lot more because it has some of the best hills around. In December 2006 my brother and I went to Mont Sainte Anne in Quebec and you can take a look at my photos here.
